Glamping, RSVP by August 20, 2019
One reason we fell in love with the venue was the ability to have our guests stay with us on site before and after the wedding! We will be staying in the main farmhouse on the ranch which is a short walk away from the reception and glamping area.
Showers and restrooms are on site. Each tent will also have a small makeup/wash station.
Cost
Pricing is the total for two nights, Friday September 27th and Saturday 28th:
$500 for one to two people, one queen size bed or two twin beds
$600 for three to four people, two queen size beds
Tents will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
What to do in the area
This 36 Hours from the New York Times covers a lot of highlights along the coast near the wedding as well as a few things along 128 which is probably the road you will take to get to the coast.
Hotels in Mendocino and Elk
If space fills up in glamping, or you are more of a creature of comfort, Mendocino Village and Elk are beautiful coastal towns with lots of small hotels and beds and breakfasts. Below is a list of a few that caught our eye, and ones we have stayed at.
Please book your hotels early as Mendocino Village and Elk are popular vacation spots!
Hotels
Mendocino Hotel & Garden Suites - Nice views of the cliffs and coast
Hill House Inn - Stayed here. Some of “Murder, She Wrote” was filmed here, very retro. It typically books more slowly, so if you’re a procrastinator, this may be the option for you!
Holiday Inn Express - Located in Fort Bragg (a bit more of a trek from the venue)
Bed and Breakfasts
Elk Cove Inn & Spa - Closest to the venue
Albion River Inn - Stayed here, GORGEOUS views
Little River Inn - Views of the coastline
MacCallum House Inn - Victorian house in the heart of Mendocino Village
Joshua Grindle Inn - Another Victorian house with a cottage and water tower
Didjeridoo Dreamtime Inn - Funny name, hippie vibes
Sweetwater Inn & Spa - Spa looks nice, also has a water tower
The Andiron Seaside Inn & Cabins - One- and two-room cabins off of Route 1.
This list is by no means exhaustive! If you are a visionary or pioneer there are many more options available.
